This term our class topic is 'The Knight who wouldn't Fight'. Through this topic we will be completing lots of exciting and engaging activities across all areas of learning and experience. Some of these ideas include :

• Retell and respond to a familiar story with confidence.

• Understand that problems can be solved without fighting.

• Identify and describe features of castles.

• Learn about real Welsh castles.

• Explore everyday materials and their uses.

• Build, sketch and design using a range of tools.

• Use number, shape and measurement in meaningful contexts.

• Show care for animals and imaginary creatures.

• Express ideas through art, drama, music and role-play.

READING - the key to everything in school is the ability to read and to foster a lifelong love of it. Please hear your child read as often as you can. Would you please return your child’s reading folder and book to school every Monday so that we can hear them read in school.

PE KIT - PE kit can be worn to school instead of uniform on your child's PE day. Our PE day will be a Friday.

FRUIT - Being a healthy school we promote eating fruit as a playtime snack. Fruit can either be brought in from home or purchased from school costing £1 per week.
